The Esther Project

A 2024 report by MSNBC Opinion reveals that an Israeli government-supported online campaign utilized X, Facebook, and Instagram to manage fake social media accounts. This covert operation, involving AI-generated content, aimed to sway U.S. lawmakers and public opinion, especially concerning the Gaza conflict. Internal documents and media reports reference the Esther Project an Israeli government-backed campaign to influence U.S. public opinion through paid influencers and content partnerships using AI-generated content and fake accounts on X, Facebook, and Instagram.

The gradual and discreet implementation of harmful government policies is often referred to as “salami slicing” or “the salami tactic.” This term describes a strategy where large, controversial changes are broken into small, incremental steps—each seemingly minor—so that public opposition is minimized, and the cumulative effect goes largely unnoticed until significant damage is done.

The “Esther Project” was managed by the Israeli political marketing firm Stoic and funded by the Ministry of Diaspora Affairs. It was characterized as the first documented case of the Israeli government organizing a campaign to influence the U.S. government, with a $2 million budget.

With that $2 million budget, the Israeli government’s foreign interference campaign focused on influential Democratic figures, drawing criticism for compromising democratic integrity and U.S. sovereignty. Social media platforms facilitate such activities until pressured to do otherwise.

Accounts were set up by an Israeli political marketing firm, masquerading as U.S. constituents who employed AI-generated content to impact American lawmakers and public opinion, particularly during the Gaza conflict. Meta, the owner of Facebook and Instagram, announced it had started removing some of the identified AI-generated content, though some accounts still exist on most all major social media sites.

Some fake accounts linked to the Israeli government-backed influence campaign are still active as of November 29, 2025, despite increased scrutiny and platform transparency tools.

META: Israeli Takedown Requests

Recent reports from November 2025 reveal that X introduced a new “About this Account” feature showing the country of operation, app installation location, and account history. This tool exposed numerous fake accounts posing as Gaza residents or Israeli soldiers, many of which were actually operating from Afghanistan, Pakistan, Russia, Poland, and the UK.

While Meta (Facebook, Instagram) removed over 500 Israeli-linked accounts in 2024, X has not taken similar large-scale action, and some accounts—like that of Motasem A. Dalloul, a verified user with 197,000+ followers labeled as being in Poland—remain active despite location discrepancies.

Experts note that while platforms are improving detection, many deceptive accounts continue to operate, especially on X, where enforcement appears inconsistent.

  • Larry Ellison (co-founder of Oracle, one of the largest donors to the Israeli military) leads a U.S. investor group acquiring TikTok’s U.S. operations. He also controls CBS, Paramount, MTV, Showtime, and is set to take over Warner Bros. Discovery (including CNN and HBO).
  • Peter Thiel (co-founder of PayPal, early Facebook investor) is a vocal Zionist and supports Israeli tech ventures through Palantir and other investments.
  • Rupert Murdoch (owner of Fox News, The Wall Street Journal) has long supported Israel and may be involved in the TikTok deal.
  • Michael Dell (Dell Technologies) supports Israeli tech and is linked to the TikTok acquisition.
  • Andreessen Horowitz, a major venture capital firm, invests heavily in Israeli startups and has organized business trips to Israel.

Ellison, through his son David Ellison’s Skydance Media, recently acquired Paramount Global—owner of CBS, MTV, Comedy Central, and Showtime—and is now pursuing a merger with Warner Bros. Discovery, which owns CNN and HBO.

If completed, this deal would place CNN under the same ownership umbrella as CBS News, where Ellison has already installed Bari Weiss, a staunchly pro-Israel journalist, as editor in chief, and appointed a conservative ombudsman to monitor for “anti-Israel bias.”

While Ellison is American and the deal is private, his ideological alignment with Israeli interests and influence over editorial direction raise concerns about media consolidation under pro-Israel, pro-Trump leadership.

While everyday users often face bans for minor infractions, state-backed campaigns like the 2024 Israeli operation using AI-generated content and fake U.S. identities have operated for long periods before being acknowledged publicly by the social media platform. Critics argue that powerful entities receive delayed or lenient enforcement compared to regular users, highlighting concerns about double standards in platform moderation. What a surprise, right?

Government Surveillance: Fake Social Media Accounts by DHS

The First Amendment: twisted and monetized.

Everyday users are penalized, whilst elites face no accountability, as evidenced by any member of Congress and US presidents who benefit from “being above US and social media rules and laws.” Laws and rules that are written by the offenders themselves to shield them from their acts of criminality, bias, and suppression of voices of everyday Americans who can’t afford the “check marks.”

In the 2023–2024 election cycle, 65% of Congress (349 out of 535 members) received campaign funding from the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) and other pro-Israel groups. AIPAC alone contributed a record amount, making it the single largest contributor to congressional candidates during that cycle.

Additionally, an analysis found that pro-Israel lobbying groups gave over $58 million to members of Congress in the previous election cycle, with only 33 members receiving no such donations. Lawmakers who expressed strong support for Israel received an average of $125,000, compared to $18,000 for those with pro-Palestinian stances. This financial influence is seen by critics as a major factor shaping congressional alignment with Israeli policy, often diverging from broader public opinion.

“Creeping normality”—a concept describing how harmful changes are gradually accepted because they happen slowly over time, making each small shift seem normal. It’s also known as “gradualism” or “the boiling frog syndrome.” This process allows major societal, political, or environmental declines to go unnoticed or unchallenged until significant damage has occurred.

Academic perspectives, such as those in The Israel Lobby and U.S. Foreign Policy by Mearsheimer and Walt, argue that pro-Israel lobbying groups like AIPAC exert disproportionate influence over U.S. foreign policy, media narratives, and congressional decisions, often aligning U.S. actions with Israeli interests even when they diverge from American national interests.

Additionally, watchdog groups have urged the U.S. Department of Justice to investigate and reveal the identities of paid Israeli influencers operating in the U.S., citing violations of the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA). These efforts reflect growing scrutiny over foreign influence though no one is making any efforts to limit foreign lobbying and foreign dark money and “pay to play” at the White House

Concerns about the influence of these groups, particularly regarding media, technology, and foreign policy, have been raised by analysts, academics, and advocacy organizations. Yet high-level military and government officials, along with members of Congress who received monies from pro-Israeli lobbyists, are in lockstep with the Israel 1st ideology, completely disenfranchising American citizens from US governance.

The belief system of the ancient Israelites was rooted in oral traditions and polytheistic Canaanite religion, evolving into Yahwism. During the Iron Age I (12th–11th centuries BCE), the Israelites branched from Canaanite religion and began worshipping Yahweh as their national god. Initially, this was monolatristic—acknowledging other gods but worshipping only Yahweh—not fully monotheistic. Yahweh was often associated with Asherah, suggesting a pantheon-like structure.
Religious knowledge was oral, passed through elders, priests, and prophets, with no formal written Torah. Over time, especially after the Assyrian conquest and Babylonian exile (6th century BCE), the belief shifted toward exclusive devotion to Yahweh, culminating in the compilation of the Hebrew Bible and the rise of scriptural authority.

Growing up in Sunday school, I was taught from the Bible, “those who bless Israel will be blessed, and those who curse Israel will be cursed.” And from my perspective, I want to be on the blessing side of things

American voters are being used to legitimize a two-party political oligarchy through forced vote; voting for handpicked, groomed candidates. That is the extent of “say and sway” influence everyday American “citizens” have in 2025 moving forward.

Elitism or class superiority reflects a mindset where privileged individuals or groups, because of wealth, education, or power, believe themselves inherently more capable or deserving of influence than the general population. This concept is central to critiques of power elites, as described by sociologist C. Wright Mills, who noted that those in top institutional positions often share a sense of mutual superiority and operate as a cohesive, self-justifying class.

Today, human beings worldwide are being dehumanized and reduced to digital algorithms. Non-elite humans are considered redundant and a drain on resources needed to power AI by ruling oligarchs and corporate elites.

More and more AI technology is forcibly being embedded in our lives 24/7; we are a digital algorithm, even the right to vote will be discarded in phases: digital voting will replace the in-person vote; at home digital voting will be layered in, then an awakening; the right to vote will be deemed unnecessary or banned altogether and public appearances of officials will be replaced with AI-generated government officials. Expect this in less than a decade.
